Climate Justice

Climate justice is a movement and framework that recognizes that the effects of climate change are not distributed equally, and that those who have contributed the least to the crisis often suffer the most. It emphasizes the ethical, social, and political dimensions of climate change, highlighting how marginalized communities—particularly in the Global South, Indigenous populations, low-income groups, and historically disadvantaged communities—bear a disproportionate burden of environmental destruction, extreme weather events, and resource depletion.
